General Information

Tanzania is one of the largest cashew producers in Africa. 

The country is the eighth-largest grower of cashew nut in the world and ranks fourth in Africa.

Cashew nuts are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, palmitoleic, vaccenic, linolenic, and gadoleic acids, and especially oleic and linoleic acids.

The nuts are also a good source of protein, carbohydrates, and dietary fiber.
